Palestinian State : Abu Mazen Vs. Bibi

And today was the big day , Mahmoud Abbas Vs. Netanyahu at the UN General Assembly.
Mahmoud Abbas aka Abu Mazen addressed in a long speech the representatives of the world countries in UN about how the Palestinians after 1948 deserve an internationally recognized state based on 1967 borders
Here are the interesting excerpts from Abu Mazen’s speech
The goal of the Palestinian people is the realization of their inalienable national rights in their independent State of Palestine, with East Jerusalem as its capital, on all the land of the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, and the Gaza Strip, which Israel occupied in the June 1967 war, in conformity with the resolutions of international legitimacy and with the achievement of a just and agreed upon solution to the Palestine refugee issue in accordance with resolution 194, as stipulated in the Arab Peace Initiative which presented the consensus Arab vision to resolve the core the Arab-Israeli conflict and to achieve a just and comprehensive peace. To this we adhere and this is what we are working to achieve. Achieving this desired peace also requires the release of political prisoners and detainees in Israeli prisons without delay.
and
I come before you today from the Holy Land, the land of Palestine, the land of divine messages, ascension of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and the birthplace of Jesus Christ (peace be upon him), to speak on behalf of the Palestinian people in the homeland and in the the Diaspora, to say, after 63 years of suffering of the ongoing Nakba: Enough. It is time for the Palestinian people to gain their freedom and independence.
The time has come to end the suffering and the plight of millions of Palestine refugees in the homeland and the Diaspora, to end their displacement and to realize their rights, some of them forced to take refuge more than once in different places of the world. At a time when the Arab peoples affirm their quest for democracy - the Arab Spring - the time is now for the Palestinian Spring, the time for independence.
UN : Mahmoud Abbas’ speech 23/9
Everybody applauded Abbas’ speech , of course except the Israeli delegation. This is the best speech I think Abu Mazan has said and will say in his life whether  “I do not like this man and I know Israel knows he is better than many including Marwan El Barghouti”
Netanyahu aka Bibi addressed the Israeli people at the UN General assembly right after Abu Mazen so no wonder the representatives of world did not applaud as they did with Abu Mazen and this something I can understand why.
Well, this is an unfortunate part of the U.N. institution. It’s the — the theater of the absurd. It doesn’t only cast Israel as the villain; it often casts real villains in leading roles: Gadhafi’s Libya chaired the U.N. Commission on Human Rights; Saddam’s Iraq headed the U.N. Committee on Disarmament.
You might say: That’s the past. Well, here’s what’s happening now — right now, today. Hezbollah-controlled Lebanon now presides over the U.N. Security Council. This means, in effect, that a terror organization presides over the body entrusted with guaranteeing the world’s security. You couldn’t make this thing up.
So here in the U.N., automatic majorities can decide anything. They can decide that the sun sets in the west or rises in the west. I think the first has already been pre-ordained. But they can also decide — they have decided that the Western Wall in Jerusalem, Judaism’s holiest place, is occupied Palestinian territory
and
And yet even here in the General Assembly, the truth can sometimes break through. In 1984 when I was appointed Israel’s ambassador to the United Nations, I visited the great rabbi of Lubavich. He said to me — and ladies and gentlemen, I don’t want any of you to be offended because from personal experience of serving here, I know there are many honorable men and women, many capable and decent people serving their nations here. But here’s what the rebbe said to me. He said to me, you’ll be serving in a house of many lies. And then he said, remember that even in the darkest place, the light of a single candle can be seen far and wide.

The Jewish state of Israel will always protect the rights of all its minorities, including the more than 1 million Arab citizens of Israel. I wish I could say the same thing about a future Palestinian state, for as Palestinian officials made clear the other day — in fact, I think they made it right here in New York — they said the Palestinian state won’t allow any Jews in it. They’ll be Jew-free — Judenrein. That’s ethnic cleansing. There are laws today in Ramallah that make the selling of land to Jews punishable by death. That’s racism. And you know which laws this evokes.
In Hebron , West Bank during the speech
This is the black comedy in its purest forms , seriously if you watch the speech or read its text..too provoking for me for the inconsideration and arrogance !! Historically rich European Jews came with their money since 1917 and started to buy land in Palestine. Some Palestinians then did not pay attention to the Zionist plans and sold their land ,this is why you got this law in Ramallah , they do not want anymore Nakkaba on what the tiny pieces remained from their homeland. Of course Bibi forgot to mention about the racism of illegal settlers towards the Arabs. Bibi mentioned Shalit and forgot to mention thousands of Palestinian POWs !! Of course he does not care for the agony of the refugees who paid a price for they should not pay for generations now.
Now the case is up to the Security council and in advance we know that the 80% of the world population recognition of Palestine means nothing in front the American and European vetoes.  Ironically in 1948 the Security council and UN adopted the two states solution , of course as Arabs we did not think about it then now we want this recognition from the UN and the U.S is standing against us.
Yesterday Obama addressed the world nations as if he was addressing Israel. Of course we have to prepare ourselves for this because it is the elections season in 2012 !!
Strangely all this happens after the ousting of Mubarak , I wonder if he was still ruling Egypt all this would happen !!
Anyhow in 1974 Yasser Arafat stood in the UN general assembly and said those words that some consider controversial
1974 : Arafat’s olive branch
Today I have come bearing an olive branch and a freedom fighter's gun. Do not let the olive branch fall from my hand .
These words describe the situation of the Palestinian youth now who naturally attracted to the Arab Spring revolutions wave with their strong cause. The Next Intifada will not be just an uprising , it can be a real revolution and it will be supported by the youth of Egypt , Libya, Tunisia, Gulf , Syria, Yemen, Bahrain and Turkey that Bibi allegedly want peace with.
Enough of direct and indirect negotiations , Palestinian State now.

  1. Best speech ever by Abbas - just amazing! Bibi is dark as always, reminds of some figure from Harry Potter :) A big liar ( btw. he keeps counting the arabs of israel as 1 million, they are 1.5 millions )

It looks like the only way to have peace is by that someone (The Arab world) should teach the strong today ( Israel), at some point in the future that they are not strong anymore.

Israel is not wise to see that future, it is deluded by its own force and by the weakness of its neighbors.

To get to that point - Arabs have to continue with the Arab spring till all goals are achieved , in all states , from Iraq till Morroco . And should base their society and political system in a setup that leverages its people, resources into great and strong powers.

Such setup should include the following pillars:
    1. Equality across all people in the society, minorities, majorities
    2. Equality in the family between man and woman. equal is: 1=1
    3. Breaking the poverty circles
    4. Eliminating corruption
    5. Implanting ambitions , hope and wanting a better future in every person.

Of course this can be achieved by democracy only, and the road is still long . So be patient ! We will get there one , inshalla , soon .

  2. The funniest part of Bibi's stupid speech was when he waved his ring around, claiming that it was an ancient seal found near the Western Wall inscribed with the name "Netanyahu", as proof that his ancestors were from Jerusalem.

As though having a "Jewish" name gave him and his fellow Zionists a license to steal and commit murder.

In any case, Bibi's father was a Polish Zionist who changed his last name from Mileikowsky to "Netanyahu" after the family moved to Palestine.

  3. I do not believe in a Palestine state. I believe in a Palestine cage.

    Even muslims agree:

    Lebanon 12 refugee camps
    Jordan 10 refugee camps

There is a beast in the palestine soul which must be caged

    Any questions?
